Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of southwesthomeaccess.com (the "Site") and the matching service it provides. By submitting a request, applying as a contractor, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these terms.

What we are — and what we're not

Southwest Home Access is a free lead-matching service. We connect homeowners with independent, third-party contractors for aging-in-place home modifications. We are not a general contractor, we do not perform installation work, and we are not a party to any agreement a homeowner makes with a contractor. Contractors on our platform are independent businesses, not our employees or agents.

For homeowners

  • Submitting a request is free and creates no obligation to hire any contractor who contacts you.
  • We match your request with a contractor who has passed our license and insurance review, but we do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, pricing, or outcome of any work performed. Any agreement for services is strictly between you and the contractor.
  • Please provide accurate contact information so a matched contractor can reach you.

For contractors

  • You must hold a valid Utah contractor license and proof of insurance to be approved on our platform, and you're responsible for keeping that information current.
  • We may charge a fee to claim a lead, disclosed before you claim it. Fees are for access to the lead, not a guarantee of the job.
  • We may suspend or remove any contractor account for inaccurate information, license or insurance lapses, or conduct that harms homeowners or the platform.

No warranty

The Site and matching service are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that a match will be made, that a contractor will respond, or that any work performed will meet a particular standard.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Southwest Home Access is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site or from work performed by any contractor matched through the Site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
